La Querciolana produces high quality wines,
thanks to the careful and meticulous work spent on caring for the vineyards,
harvesting grapes and making wine.
The splendid location of the vineyards, exposed to the east-west at an average altitude of 350-400 metres above sea level, gives an excellent production. The vine-growing surface is about 13 hectares. The vinestocks grown are Sangiovese, Merlot, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon for making red wines; Sauvignon, Incrocio Manzoni, Viognier for making white wine.
The company has started a process of biological conversion both for the cultivation of grapes and for the transformation of wine in the cellar, while our oil is produced from olives grown organically and classified as DOP for 2 years.
Harvesting is exclusively by hand, permitting careful selection of the best grapes.
